Romesh Canekeratne, LEED AP BD+C attended the University of South Carolina where he received his BS in Mechanical Engineering in 1985 and then received his BS in Computer Science in 1989.

Romesh has over 25 years of experience as a Mechanical Designer and has extensive experience designing large energy-efficient HVAC systems, plumbing systems and fire sprinkler systems. He is thoroughly familiar with NFPA Codes, LEED Certification requirements for HVAC and Plumbing along with performing Life Cycle Cost Estimates and Energy Budget Analysis. His extensive knowledge has allowed him to to participate in LEED projects ranging from Certified through Gold levels and has designed fire sprinkler systems to include hydraulic calculations. Romesh has been involved as a designer and project manager for MILCON, educational, commercial and O&M projects throughout the Southeast.
